Cruising from the Atlantic Ocean into the Taag River, Lisbon

Our ship, the Celebrity Equinox is docked in Lisbon on the Taag River. The river is the direct connection of Lisbon to the Atlantic Ocean and a true commercial and industrial vain of the region. Cargo ships regularly pass by under the watching eye of Jesus. The statue is called Christ the King and is almost 80m high. It was inspired by the Christ Redeemer statue of Rio de Janeiro. You can reach the statue via the impressive bridge of 25 April.
