The Berjaya building and shopping centre is so big, it is hard to believe. The outdoor pictures in front of the monorail station give you an impression. The building has an older appearance but inside modern elements like a flashy liquid floor, a hidden forest, modern electronics and an extreme gothic shop for which you need to be a member.
On the fifth floor they have an indoor amusement park with some traditional carnival rides. The main attraction is a two lift hill roller coaster with several inversions. Who would expect such a thrill ride in a shopping centre?

ReplyDeleteThe floor is awesome! The tree ceiling, too. I guess it would take days to shop all the way through it.
ReplyDeletelooks like a fun place
ReplyDeleteWat een geweldige plek.
ReplyDeleteAn incredible manmade space
ReplyDeleteAmazing shopping centre. Cool fun.
ReplyDeleteVau .. what a market. There everyone have fun, though the money has going :)
ReplyDeleteNice photos.
Greetings
Ooo, it is flashy, looks good.
ReplyDeleteI love the liquid floors, so cool! This is quite the place, here we have what is known as West Edmonton Mall and it's huge, it has a full size pool, tidal pool, Fantasyland (rides galore and one huge roller coaster which I went on once and was cured! lol), there's tons of shops, restaurants, a hotel and the list goes on. At one point in time our mall here was known as the biggest mall in the world, it appears it might not be anymore with this place you're describing. Now my curiosity is piqued, I'll have to go and check it out. Oh and no liquid floors here unfortunately, I've love to see these!
ReplyDeleteCheers.
Hi again, I just checked and West Edmonton Mall now ranks 14th and this mall ranks 15th, pretty close. I rarely go to WEM, it's so big and I tend to get lost sometimes! lol
Deleteso huge, crazy! :-)
ReplyDeleteNo wonder it looks familiar from the first picture ! Welcome to our country. I hope you went up to the Skybar of Traders Hotel in the evening; there is an windowless area where you can photograph the Twin Tower view.
ReplyDeleteindrukwekkend...

prettige zondag
I was there in 2007 and wanted to see an IMAX 4D film.... was not available on that day. :( I lived in the center for a month. :)

ReplyDeleteSurprise to see an amusement park in shopping centre
ReplyDeleteWow, the children's department with their giant Hello Kitty and dresses and accessories from the movie Frozen, it looks like it could be right here! Some really fabulous play with your captures in this mix too! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteindrukwekkend
