Planting trees in Galapagos National Park

As a tourist you try to contribute to the conservation of nature on the Galapagos. We did this by supporting the wildlife foundation and planting trees in the National Park of Santa Cruz island.

The group was expected and the street side was well prepared. We had to swap our shoes for disinfected rubber boots. This to ensure you don't bring any other organism into the area where you plant the trees. It was a nice experience.

Als toerist draag je graag bij aan de instandhouding van de natuur op Galapagos. Wij deden dit door een gift aan de Wildlife Foundation en het planten van bomen in het National Park van Santa Cruz. 

De groep werd verwacht en de site was goed voorbereid. We dienden onze schoenen te wisselen voor gedesinfecteerde rubberen laarzen. Dit was een voorzorgsmaatregel om geen andere organismen op deze grond mee te brengen. Het was een leuke ervaring.
