Venice is a beautiful city that every traveller needs to see once in his life. Most streets are so narrow that it is difficult to orientate yourself. However hard you try, when you leave the wide streets, you will get lost. Make sure you have enough time to find you way back.
The city is surrounded by water and streets connected by small bridges. Just throw yourselves into the adventure of walking in these narrow alleys and see where you will end up. Most houses in the city centre are pieces of art.
Venice has a lot to offer: shopping, museums, churches, concerts, boat trips and historical buildings. There is one big disadvantage; tourists are not allowed to take pictures in any church or museum.

What fabulous architectural photos. Venice always looks so charming. I wonder if the old dwellings are damp inside? I guess I can just stay home and enjoy your pics!

ReplyDeleteI loved and had a wonderful time in Venice. Its simply an experience worth the traveling hours and spending a whole day in Venice. Shopping is heavenly too with all the branded stores. Your post brings back my memories of my trip to this place.
ReplyDeleteYou have gotten some awesome shots Filip! I think one of the highlights of my time in venice with a gondola ride with a singer. I just loved it. Also, my husband and I spent quite a bit of time wandering around looking for a specific bead shop that i wanted to go to. Very tricky navigating around in some of those alleys!
