Central Station in Copenhagen, going back to the era of bicycles

Standing on a bridge you see the trains entering the covered outdoor platforms of the Copenhagen main train station. The arched metal roof looks great from above and underneath it. Parts of the station are very modern and occasionally you see some graffiti. What surprised us the most was the overkill of bicycles, they were everywhere. It was like going back in time. Where are the cars?

  4. I think it is wonderful to see so many bicycles, I was impressed by scenes like this at the stations and ferries in Asia as well.

  11. Maybe they are more environmentally conscious or there is no parking nearby. I have also seen lots of bicycles in China, but I think because most people can't afford a car and not for trying to be green.

  12. Are these bicycles from today, or is that a photo from the past. There are certainly alot of bikes here. When I was in San Francisco, there were alot of electric skateboards. Just throw it in your backpack after you ride where you are going. Handy, but much less healthy that the ride.
