We know this district of Barcelona very well, we have been here several times and stayed in a hotel close by. The Graffiti House on Rambla del Ravel is particularly interesting because of its faces and eyes integrated into the full façade of the building. We are classifying this as art instead of vandalism.
It doesn’t make the neighbourhood safer however. This square and street are known as very active areas for pickpockets and robbers. Please careful and always pay attention to your wallet and camera. When I took these pictures, Kristel kept an eye on people who could possibly approach me with bad intensions.

Graffiti can be fun as this is.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is all done by talented and artistic people. If it were not here, I think the building would look very bad.
ReplyDeleteI could stand all day and admire the art of those that spread their brush!
ReplyDeleteunique artwork
ReplyDeletehet zijn hele kunstwerken.
ReplyDeleteArt work is lovely. I would imagine the building would be rather drab without it.
ReplyDeleteEen mooie impressie van dit knappe huis!
ReplyDeleteI like these kind graffitis. They are so funny and nice.

It is an unusual building but a fun one. I remember doing the same as Kristel when we were there, standing behind Bill keeping an eye on his pockets. It is a interesting street to visit though.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Barcelona!
