On this beautiful day we enjoyed the walk on the bridge with the river Rhone below us. There was so much light and the water was enchanting. Since the bridge ends half way we returned on our steps and admired the view of the old city.
Deze halve voetgangersbrug in Avignon is beroemd omwille van het lied "Sur Le Pont D'avignon". In dit Franse lied dansen kinderen op de brug terwijl ze zingen over bekende personen en beroepen.
Op deze mooie zomerdag genoten we van een wandeling op de brug met de Rhone rondom ons. Er was zo veel licht dat het water betoverend leek. Daar de brug niet tot de overkant reikt kwamen we op onze stappen terug, de vestingen van de oude stad aanschouwend.
