The Artis Zoo is located in the city centre of Amsterdam and was founded in 1838. This makes it the oldest Zoo of The Netherlands and you really see this at some buildings. The Aquarium almost looks like a temple, a beautiful piece of architecture. The most interesting however are gardens, parks and the animals. We took some beautiful pictures of monkeys, lizards, lions, giraffes, okapi’s, bears and many more. A few of these pictures were added below to give you an impression of the animals at the Artis Zoo of Amsterdam.
De Artis Zoo is gelegen in het stadscentrum van Amsterdam en werd opgericht in 1838. Dit maakt het de oudste dierentuin van Nederland en je ziet dit ook aan sommige gebouwen. Het Aquarium lijkt net een tempel, een mooi stukje architectuur. Het meest interessante zijn de tuinen, park en dieren. We namen enkele mooie foto’s van apen, hagedissen, leeuwen, giraffen, okapi’s, beren en nog veel meer. Enkele van deze foto’s hebben we hieronder toegevoegd om u een impressie te geven van de dieren in de Artis Zoo van Amsterdam..
