Su Tong Pae's bamboo bridge, Pang Mu

In the vicinity of Mae Hong Son you find the village of Pang Mu. Monks are building here a new temple on a hill side. In the dry season the temple can easily be reached but in the rainy season the rice fields are covered with water.

To create a dry path to the temple, the monks built a 500 meter long bamboo bridge. The bridge looks amazing from in the fields and from the temple. We enjoyed our walk from the village to the temple and back. What a nice scenery and there are no tourists here.
