Spido boat trip in the harbour of Rotterdam

For a very long time, the harbour of Rotterdam was the biggest in the world. These days with the growth on the Asian market, there are three harbours in Asia which take in more volume. We decide to take a tour in the harbour with one of the modern Spido tour ships. It is a lot of fun and you see many freight ships, a windmill, sky scrapers, industrial companies, containers and even a few dry docks for ship maintenance and repairs.

Voor lange tijd was de haven van Rotterdam de grootste in de wereld. De laatste jaren staan ze echter op de 4de plaats omwille van de groei op de Aziatische markt. We besloten een tochtje te maken in de haven met een van de moderne Spido boten. Het was zeer leuk en we zagen vele vrachtschepen, een windmolen, wolkenkrabbers, industriële bedrijven, containers en zelfs een droogdok voor het onderhoud en herstellen van schepen..
