Today we had a day off. It was sunny and we decided to go for a walk in Keukenhof. This is one of the main spring attractions in The Netherlands and is still open till 20 May 2011. The flowers are just amazing, we spend three hours walking through the park together with our two dogs. When they are well behaved this is no problem. It was rather crowded, lots of visitors from many countries. We saw cars from all over Europe, everyone had their camera with them even the Japanese tourists. In park we saw typical Dutch things like tulips, wooden clogs and a windmill. Because of the beauty of the flowers, we have added some more pictures than in our normal articles. A video will be published next week.
Vandaag hadden we een dagje vrij. Het was zonnig en we besloten te gaan wandelen in Keukenhof. Dit is een van de belangrijkste lente bezienswaardigheden in Nederland en blijft open tot 20 mei 2011. De bloemen zijn ongelooflijk, we hebben drie uren in het park gewandeld samen met de twee hondjes. Als ze zich gedragen is dit geen probleem. Op de parkeerplaats zagen we hoe populair Keukenhof wel is, er waren auto's van uit bijna alle Europese landen. Iedereen had zijn camera mee, zelfs de Japanse toeristen. In het park vind je ook typisch Hollandse dingen zoals tulpen, houten klompen en een windmolen. Vanwege de schoonheid van de bloemen hebben we besloten iets meer foto's te publiceren dan in onze normale artikelen. Een video wordt volgende week gepubliceerd.
