Restaurant Facil, high level cuisine in Berlin with a modern touch

We all know that the gastronomy is important for Belgians. When we talk to friends they refer to France as the most culinary country and see Germany as territory of simple food and Bratwurst. They are wrong, in Berlin you find many top restaurants and Facil with his one Michelin Star is certainly a hit. It is probably the best restaurant we have visited in Germany and is right there at the top among other one star Michelin restaurants of France and Belgium.

Restaurant Facil is located in the Mandala Hotel Berlin in the Postdamer Straβe. Entering the lobby of the hotel, the receptionist guides us to the elevator because the restaurant is located on one of the top floors. Pink flowers seem to be the theme of the hotel and it looks good. The tasting menus are excellent and we recommend this restaurant to all gastronomy lovers. The service is very good and the prices are fair.

The light is the restaurant was not optimal to take picture but I gave it a try. The taste and presentation was excellent.

We weten allemaal dat de gastronomie belangrijk is voor Belgen. Wanneer we met vrienden praten, verwijzen ze naar Frankrijk als het meest culinaire land en zien ze Duitsland als land van eenvoudig eten en braadworst. Ze zijn verkeerd, hier in Berlijn vind je vele top restaurants en Facil met zijn 1 Michelin Ster is zeker een hit. Het is waarschijnlijk het beste restaurant dat we ooit hebben bezocht in Duitsland en het kan meedingen met de beste 1 sterren restaurants ter wereld, ook van Frankrijk en België. 

Restaurant Facil is gelegen in het Mandala Hotel van Berlijn in de Postdamer Straβe. Als je de lobby binnenkomt, leidt de receptioniste je naar de lift want het restaurant ligt op een van de hogere verdiepingen. Roze bloemen lijken het visitekaartje van het hotel en het ziet er goed uit. Het degustatiemenu is uitstekend en we kunnen dit restaurant aan iedere gourmet lover aanbevelen. De dienstverlening is zeer goed tegen eerlijke prijzen. 

 Het licht in het restaurant was niet optimaal om foto’s te trekken maar ik probeerde het toch. De smaak en presentatie was echter uitstekend..
