A typical Italian lunch on the terrace of Hotel La Palma, Capri

It was a very warm day and on the terrace of La Palma hotel in Capri you could sit in the shade of nicely cut trees. We opened a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and selected typical Italian dishes like Carpaccio and Pasta with summer tomatoes. Simple food in the right circumstances can be can taste excellent.

Het was een heel warme dag en op het terras van het La Palma hotel in Capri vonden we nog een plaatsje in de schaduw van mooi gesnoeide bomen. We openden een flesje Sauvignon Blanc en kozen voor typisch Italiaanse gerechten zoals een Carpaccio en pasta met zomertomaatjes. Eenvoudig eten in de juiste omstandigheden kan uitstekend smaken.
