We visited the stock exchange in Brussels because we like historic buildings. As you can see on the pictures it was really worth it. The building was designed by architect Léon-Pierre Suys and completed in 1873. It is the home of the BEL20, the 20 most important shares of the Belgian Euro next. This year the BEL20 celebrated its 20 years anniversary. It was not a happy birthday party because the BEL20 dropped below the value it had in 2002. This means that investors who bought a mix of BEL20 shares in 2002 have now after 10 years not gained one euro on their money. Maybe gold is a solution. Gold brokers can be found next to the Brussels Stock exchange. Good luck in deciding what the best investment is for you.

I knew this looked familiar. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel across the street last Fall. You did a great job of capturing the details.
