The Punta del Este Parish church and lighthouse

This cozy little church of the Punta del Este parish called Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria looks a bit like a smurfs house. The blue color looks amazing as also the clock tower. In the middle of the arched ceiling hangs a large chandelier. The interior is simple and bright. Just next to the church stands the island lighthouse.

Deze gezellige kleine kerk van de Punta del Este parochie wordt Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria genoemd en ziet er een beetje uit als een smurfenkerk. De blauwe kleur en de kerktoren zien er fantastisch uit. In het midden van het plafond hangt een grote sierluster. Naast de kerk staat de vuurtoren van het schiereiland.
