Spotting super cars in London

A super car is a boys dream and in a rich city like London, you see many of luxury and sports cars. During the summer holiday period, young car lovers from the Middle East fly-over their cars to spend a few weeks in the UK capital. Also in other seasons you see cars with Arab number plates.

One of the recommended places to spot super cars is on the Mall and in front of Harrods. We saw many interesting vehicles like the typical English cabs and mini's but also the real super cars like Porsche, Maserati, TVR, Rolls Royce and Ferrari.

When we go to London, Kristel goes shopping in Harrods and I spot cars in front of the store. Isn't that a good deal.

Een super auto is een droom van elke jonge man en in een rijke stad zoals Londen zie je veel van deze luxe en sportwagens rijden. Tijdens de zomervakanties, vliegen rijke autofanaten uit het Midden Oosten hun auto's over naar Londen om hier enkele weken plezier te maken. Ook tijdens andere maanden zie je nog auto's met Arabische nummerplaten.

Onze aanbevolen plaatsen om zulke wagens te zien is op de Mall en aan Harrods. We zagen enkele leuke traditionele Londense Taxi's en Mini's maar ook super wagens zoals Porsche, Maserati, TVR, Rolls Royce en Ferrari. 

Als we naar Londen gaan, mag Kristel gaan winkelen in Harrods en ik blijf wel buiten op straat auto's fotograferen. Is dat geen goede afspraak?

Dubai exclusive sport and luxury cars

The Emirate of Dubai is so rich that you see frequently exclusive cars in the street. We didn’t search for it but we took pictures of a Maserati, a Mercedes SLR, 2 Ferrari’s, 2 Rolls Royce’s, a Lamborghini cabrio, and a Porsche Panamera with diamonds as decoration. There seems to be no vandalism but the traffic is rather hectic so driving safely is a challenge. Luckily the fuel is almost for free, 20 euro cent a litre.

Het Emiraat Dubai is zo rijk dat je vele exclusieve auto’s in het straatbeeld ziet. We hebben er niet echt naar gezocht, maar we namen foto’s van een Maserati, een Mercedes SLR, 2 Ferrari’s, 2 Rolls Royce’s, een Lamborghini cabrio, en een Porche Panamera met diamantjes versiert. Er lijkt geen vandalisme te zijn in Dubai maar het verkeer is zeer druk en chaotisch, zo schadevrij rijden lijkt toch wel een uitdaging. Gelukkig is de benzine zeer goedkoop, ongeveer 20 euro cent per liter..
