Sea Grill restaurant, SAS Radisson, Brussel

Today we enjoyed the Sea Grill restaurant of the SAS Radisson hotel in Brussels. This is an excellent restaurant that has 2 Michelin stars and 19/20 in the Gaultmillau Guide. As the name already indicates, this is a fish and seafood restaurant.

As a starter we had the King Crab of the Arctic Ocean and the Sea Bream & Dublin Bay Prawns. It was a big surprise that the Sea Bream and the Prawns were served as a cold dish. Nevertheless it was super.

As a main course we both had the Turbot in choron sauce. This is one of the specialties of the house and can not be compared to any other Turbot we had before. A real recommendation.

Vandaag hebben we echt genoten van het Sea Grill restaurant in het SAS Radisson Hotel te Brussel. Dit is een uitstekend restaurant met 2 Michelin sterren en 19/20 in de Gaultmillau gids. Zoals de naam reeds laat vermoeden is dit een vis en schaaldieren restaurant.

Als voorgerecht namen we de Koningskrab van de Noordelijke Ijszee en de Koningzeebrasem met zeekreeftjes. Het was een grote verrassing dat de zeebrasem en de zeekreeftjes als koud gerecht werden geserveerd. Dit gerecht was echter uitstekend.

Als hoofdgerecht namen we beiden de Tarbot in choron saus. Dit is een van de specialiteiten van het huis en kent geen enkel vergelijk met gelijk welke Tarbot we hiervoor hebben gehad. Dit is echt aan te bevelen.

Münchner Christkindlmarkt - Christmas Market Munich

The "Münchner Christkindlmarkt"or the Christmas market is enchanting. Lights everywhere, small wooden shops on the street selling Christmas souvenirs, winter clothing, candles and many more. The Glühwein and Beer are richly available. Cheers.

Marienplatz is right in the heart of Munich. The main building on Marienplatz is the Town Hall with its 85 meter high tower. It was build at the end of the 19th century in Gothic style. The carillon with 42 bells and 32 copper statues come to live at noon and at five. This is one of main tourist attractions of Munich. The other building in the pictures is the old Town Hall build in the 15th century.

The pictures of the colourful buildings were taken in the Kaufingerstrasse. This is the main shopping street of Munich. It is a dream for everyone that likes shopping. There you can find all you desire, designer clothing, sourvenirs, electronics, huge high quality department stores... Don't leave your wife alone here, and certainly not with your credit card.

De kerstmarkt van München is betoverend. Er zijn overal lichtjes en houten stalletjes op iedere hoek van de straat. Hier worden kerstbenodigdheden, kaarsen, souveniers, winterkledij en vele andere zaken verkocht. Glüwein en bier zijn overal beschikbaar, op u gezondheid.

Marienplatz ligt in het hartje van München. Het hoofdgebouw op deze marktplaats is het stadhuis met zijn 85 meter hoge toren. Het is gebouwd op het eind van de 19de eeuw in Gotische stijl. In de toren vind je het "carillon"met zijn 42 belletjes en 32 koperen figuren. Deze komen meermaals per dag tot leven om 12 en 17 uur. Dit is een van de belangrijkste toeristische attracties van de stad. Het andere gebouw op de markt is het oude stadhuis dat werd gebouwd in de 15de eeuw.

De foto's van het gebouw in verschillende kleuren is genomen in de Kaufingerstrasse. Dit is de hoofdwinkelstraat van München. Een droom voor elkeen die graag winkelt. Je kan er alles vinden, merkkledij, souvenirs, elektronische apparatuur, hoge kwaliteit supermarkten....Laat je vrouw hier niet alleen en zeker niet met je kredietkaart.

Restaurant Tokami, München

Restaurant Tokami in Munich (Theresienstrasse) has been selected in the Michelin guide and the Gaultmillau for several years in a row now. This is exceptional for a Japanese restaurant. I must confirm that this is the second best Japasene I have ever been to. The best was in Ginza, Tokyo. Each time I am in Munich I try to eat here. The Sushi and Sashimi are excellent.

Restaurant Tokami in München (Theresienstrasse) is reeds vele jaren vermeld in zowel de Michelin gids als de Gaultmillau. Dit is uitzonderlijk voor een Japans restaurant. Toch dien ik te beamen dat dit het tweede beste Japanse restaurant is waar ik ooit ben geweest. Het beste was in Ginza, Tokyo. Iedere keer als ik in München ben tracht ik hier te eten. De Sushi en Sashimi is uitstekend.
