Our 4 wheel drive adventure in the Fujairah Hajjar Mountains has ended. The sceneries in the valleys and on mountains hills where spectacular. Sometimes, the jeep had difficulties driving up steep tracks and bridging areas covered with large stones. We made our way via dry river beddings, and it is very important to check the weather forecast because these areas get flooded by suddenly appearing raging water when it starts raining. Hajjar Mountains means mountains of stone. There are however also flowers and threes in the dessert area. This is a very fascinating region where many people want to live. You have to be aware that when you build a house in this region, you are going to be isolated and one with nature and maybe some camels.

This looks like a very isolated place, a mountainous desert. I love those beautiful flowers and buds with the flying insects on them, it is a perfect picture!
