Presidential Palace gardens in Ponta Delgada, Azores

Guided by our map of Ponta Delgada we are making our way to the Presidential Palace. It is a grey day but it stopped raining. The palace itself is nicely restored with a red façade. Some parts are decorated with statues and stained glass.

The most impressive is however the garden with its palm tree lane up to the front entrance. It has something majestic. The gardens are professionally landscaped. Thousands of flowers, great ponds and above all an unbelievable outdoor mosaic tiled wall.

  1. The gardens are beautiful. And I love the brick pillar arbor walkway! The wisteria is also beautiful. Everything is so precise and perfectly taken care of.
