KLM offering great business service between Amsterdam and Quito

When we fly intercontinental, we try to book or upgrade to business. This is unfortunately not always possible at a discount. For our trip to Quito, which takes around 12 hours, we reluctantly decided to pay the full price for the business flight.

We did not regret it. The service on board was excellent and we had a 180 degrees flat seat. Before we knew it, we arrived in Ecuador. The flight had a very good entertainment system, which I appreciate. Given the service, we feel this was our best intercontinental business flight ever.

Als we intercontinentaal vliegen, proberen we business te boeken of up te graden. Dit is niet altijd mogelijk met korting. Voor onze vlucht naar Quito, die ongeveer 12 uren in beslag neemt, besloten we toch terughoudend de volle prijs te betalen voor de business vlucht. 

We kregen geen spijt. De dienstverlening aan boord was ongelooflijk en de zetels konden 180 graden plat liggen. Voor we het wisten waren we in Ecuador. Het vliegtuig had een uitstekend entertainment systeem, wat wij heel erg appreciëren. Rekening houdende met deze dienstverlening is dit onze beste intercontinentale business vlucht ooit.

KLM Planes Plaza at Schiphol airport, Amsterdam

In the shopping area of Schiphol airport on the floor of the arrivals, you find the Planes Plaza. It is a shop were they sell plastic planes, plane models, jackets, key hangers, and all type of products related to aircrafts. The most special feature of this shop is the giant landing gear in the middle of the corridor, the engine and the cockpit of an old KLM plane. Kristel was already practicing for her pilot licence, doesn’t she look cute.

In het shopping gedeelte van Schiphol luchthaven op het verdiep van de arrivals, vind je het Planes Plaza. Het is een winkel die plastieken vliegtuigjes, modelvliegtuigen, sleutelhangers, jassen, en allerlei producten verkoopt gelinkt aan het onderwerp vliegtuigen. Het meest speciale is een landingsstel die in de gang staat, een enorme straalmotor, en een cockpit van een oud KLM toestel. Kristel was al aan het oefenen voor haar piloot licentie, ziet ze er niet schattig uit?.
