Paella is one of the most popular and typical meals of Spain and in Catalonia of which Barcelona is the capital, they have a variant called Fideuà. It contains the same ingredients expect for the rice which is replaced by pasta, most of the time by vermicelli.
We were looking for a local restaurant to try it out and found in one of the side streets of La Rambla, the Carrer de la Boqueria, restaurant Tapas Gaudi. The restaurant was indeed in Gaudi style with mosaic tiles and stained glass. As mentioned above, we took the Fideuà and liked it. The plate you see on the picture is for two people to share. It was enough, no need to take a starter.
