Gold Souk – Dubai Downtown - In the modern Dubai Mall

Our previous article informed you of the importance and value of Gold as a trade product in Dubai. The old town of Deira had many gold shops but in the Dubai Mall, the have built the biggest indoor gold souk in the world. This new Gold Souk contains only a few shops compared to the Deira gold souk. Why is the modern one then the biggest in the world? They built a gallery and temple, with chandeliers, arches, paintings, and a great dome. It is really impressive. Here you enter the souk to be amazed by a fantasy world, the imagination that turns a shopping mall into a fairytale of 1001 Arabic nights. This is only one of the many master pieces of the Dubai Mall.

  1. OH WOW... this place is simply amazing... haha kinda odd that there's no gold lying around or being used as a material for their interior... scared someone might scrap it off the wall, haha
