Painted Hall of the Royal Naval College, Greenwich

The most beautiful room of the Royal Naval College in Greenwich is without any doubt, the Painted Hall. It was here that all the pupils and the teaching staff gathered for the main events of the year. It is just amazing and we wondered if this hall was not an inspiration for J.K. Rowling when inventing the main hall of the Hogwarts School. Harry Potter and his friends would feel here at home.

The ceilings and wall paintings are out of this world. Everything is in excellent shape. Artificial candles light up the giant room. It is no surprise that this monument gets a lot of visitors.

Alles is in uitstekende staat.
