Denali City and the Salmon Bake Restaurant

Denali City is a very small one street village with big lodges and wooden houses in which you find some shops and restaurants. The village is located alongside a river where tourists could go kayaking.

The most famous restaurant is the Salmon Bake. We had to try it. You can see that we are in Alaska, the restaurant is very primitive and serves basic food, in large portions, no plate presentation and at high prices. Well, you have to eat. We took the crab cake and salmon to give it a try. We had dinner reservations more up north later in the evening so we kept it with this starter.
