This church is famous for its wooden choir of the 13th century. It is the oldest wooden construction of the province of "West-Vlaanderen". The choir is in the early gothic style. The original chapel of Saint Walburga was build in the year 870 and later replaced by this amazing church.
Deze kerk is beroemd om haar houten koor uit de 13de eeuw. Het is de oudste houten constructie uit West-Vlaanderen en is gebouwd in de vroeg-gotische stijl. De oorspronkelijke kapel van Sint-Walburga was gebouwd in het jaar 870 en later vervangen door deze ongelooflijke kerk.
Every inch of this church is a work of art. If we could all only appreciate the space that surrounds us all of the time, knowing that it holds such beauty.
