Free attraction in New York, Staten Island Ferry

In days that everything becomes more and more expensive, you still find things to do that are cheap. The Staten Island Ferry is one of these things. The ferry services are available for everyone, and for free. You don't even need a ticket. On the trip, you get very nice views of the skyline of New York, you pass the Statue of Liberty, and see the harbour. On Staten Island you can go for a walk if you feel like it or return to Manhattan. Ferries sail very regularly.

De ferry tocht is gratis en toegankelijk voor iedereen. Je hebt zelfs geen kaartje nodig. Tijdens de overtocht kan je genieten van het mooie panoramische zicht op Manhattan, het Vrijheidsbeeld, en de haven van New York. Op Staten Island kan je gaan wandelen of gewoon beslissen terug te varen. Ferries varen heel regelmatig.
