More than 25 years of quality, brasserie “De Witten Vos” in Mechelen

On the Main Square (Grote Markt) of Mechelen you find many restaurants and brassieres. Brassiere “De Witten Vos” is a valued establishment which offers a large selection of quality food. During the eighties, I went to school in Mechelen and we visited this place occasionally. More than 20 years later we still remembered we were pleased of the place. Being in town, we decided to eat something for lunch. We took both a freshly cut beef Carpaccio which was excellent. The pasta with chicken and spices was very good. The sea food pasta was even better: it contained North Sea shrimps, scampi, scallops and wild salmon. This together with a Corsondonk Agnus from the tap can’t fail. We love the stronger Belgian beers.
