Castle and Fountain on Schlossplatz, Stuttgart

Like every year in August we were in Stuttgart for the GOC Ballroom Dancing. During some of the morning sessions we grabbed the opportunity to visit the city of Stuttgart. Below you see the Schlossplatz with its castle, fountain and music pavilion. The first picture is not the castle but a shopping gallery. In fact all buildings on this square are impressive.

Zoals elk jaar in augustus, waren we in Stuttgart voor de GOC Ballroom dansen. Tijdens sommige ochtend sessies hebben we de kans gegrepen Stuttgart te bezoeken. Hieronder zie je foto's van de Schlossplatz met zijn kasteel, fontein en het muziek paviljoen. De eerste foto is niet het kasteel, maar een winkelgallerij. In feite zijn alle gebouwen op dit plein indrukwekkend.

    Great looking buildings and a wonderful square! I was in Germany for the first time last year(Munich). I want to go back and see many more cities.

    i really love the green area in front of the Stuttgarter Schloss...when i have worked there some years ago i would enjoy sitting down in the grass and gazing at the fountains...lovely feeling!
