No Saturday Champagne event at Nikki Beach Club, Phuket

We had seen so much advertising about Nikki Beach Club in Phuket and the “Chance Of Rain” Champagne Saturday. Although it is announced on their website for every Saturday, there were almost no customers the third Saturday of November. There were no DJ’s, no entertainment and no dancers. There was no event.

The staff greeted us friendly and proposed to provide us a discount on a sun bed and couch at 250 euro a day. A bit expensive when there is nothing to do at the Beach Club. In defense of the establishment we have to add that one bottle of Louis Roederer Champagne was included in the price of the sun bed next to the pool. We were expecting a lively club and entertainment so we didn’t stay. Better luck next time.

  1. Looks lovely, AND deserted! So you kind of had your own desert island all to yourselves.

  4. Well perhaps you'll visit there again, although it does appear like a splendid place to relax and enjoy yourselves with plenty of room to spare. A most lovely place.
