Finally the weather is better and the summer flowers in our garden are open

We had to wait a while for the real start of the summer but now the sun is there. The last two days it was around 30 degrees and the flowers in our garden are open. Many people who pass by stop for a look. Kristel has done an excellent job in the garden, each season new plants and flowers are blossoming. It looks like every few months we have a different garden. This serie of pictures is showing the blossoming process over time.

  5. Oh I see your little purple flowers, the kind that I posted from the Dallas gardens. I was actually there again, and saw the name of these, and meant to write it down to tell you.... but, alas, I forgot to write it down, and... old age.... Well am going again next week, and WILL write this down and tell you what they are. Love your garden and tell Kristel I do think she did an amazing job! Have a lovely day!

  11. Very vivid photos! I love the one with the bee! I'm happy you are finally having summer! Here in Texas it is always like summer. With temperatures over 100 F, it is very humid and miserable. I wish we could have a nice rain (which never happens in the summer here, at least not very often) and cooler temperatures. :)

  15. Very interesting flowers. The bee and I are curious about the bulb-like flowers. What is it called? My compliments to Kristel for planting such a nice garden for everyone to enjoy.
