General Impressions of the exiting Miami Beach town, Florida

In this article we are not focussing on the beach itself but we look at other interesting spots of the town of Miami Beach. It is a place with beautiful apartment blocks around the port entrance and a shopping paradise mainly concentrated around Lincoln Road. Some shops offer beach wear and clothing but there are also top fashion stores, technology offered by Apple and unique interiors like on the picture with the sewing machines.

Some squares and parks contain modern structures and the Jewish synagogue is surrounded by palm trees. We haven’t seen any crime in Miami Beach but the police station is protected by heavy artillery. There are many statues, in front of hotels like the Royal Palm but also at bars or restaurants. You could say that Miami Beach is an exiting city for a short and intensive stay.

  3. LOTS of great things to see here today! I LOVE your shot of the very top of the palm tree, the old fashioned sewing machines, and that framework around the tree. I am thinking it is to train the tree to grow in the form of a certain shape, a topiary.

  5. Very interesting photos Filip! I have never been to Miami, but it does look like an interesting place. Thought those old sewing machines were fascinating, and when I was in Chicago recently, I took several shots of a store window which also used those old machines as their window decoration. They must be popular, although I would have never really though of those as something to decorate a high end window with. Do you have snow? Just curious about your weather there. have a wonderful weekend

  6. Dear Filip - I received a message from you on my blog which I think was meant for someone else. You say that you noticed that I was from Uruguay and that you would be visiting there in 2014. Just to let you know in case you want to reconnect with the person involved.
