The best Roller Coasters of Bush Gardens and video compilation, Tampa

In our previous article you could already see that Bush Gardens is an amazing animal park but it also has top coasters. We are roller coaster fans and thrill seekers. Bush Gardens has five reasonable size roller coasters and we cover our three favourite ones in this article. Take you time to look at the short video, the animals and the coasters are worth it.

We start with Cheetah Hunt a steel family coaster built by Intamin. It simulates movements of a cheetah and reaches speeds of 60 mph. The short train with only 16 riders is launched three times on the track. Intamin is our favourite coaster builder but we are used to higher adrenaline rides from them, it is however a pleasant and fun coaster to be enjoyed by the young and old. Kristel was wearing a cheetah themed head cover for the occasion.

Next is Montu, one of the top ten coasters of the USA. It is the best inverted coaster we have ever done, it feel faster than Cheetah Hunt but also reaches speeds of 60 mph. You are certainly flipped a few times more up side down. Great experience and the thrill factor is higher.

We end with the highest coaster of Bush Gardens called Sheikra. For us also the best coaster, the most intense ride, the fastest with 70 mph, the highest with 200 feet and the most spectacular construction with water features. If you like the fear of a steep drop, this is your coaster, the passengers have to hang weightlessly for a few second before the train drops into the deep. Scream your lungs out, here we go. At the end of the track, the coaster runs through water, curious people who stand too close get soaked.

  4. Ahh roller coaster junkies - should have guessed! LOL Those all look like great fun and LOVE the cheetah hat! I used to be able to handle the coasters, can't seem to anymore. The old rickety wooden ones to me are now the scariest though.... Cheers!
