Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio church and the heart of the Pope

This is certainly a special church located just in front of the Trevi fountain. The sculptures, paintings and ceiling decorations are impressive. The church was completed in 1650 and is in the Baroque style. The hearts that popes carry on their chests are kept in the Santi Vincenzo. The hearts of 25 popes are displayed here. A nice church to visit when you are at the Trevi fountain.

  5. We didn't go inside this church when we visited the Trevi Fountain. I think maybe because it was closed. It certainly is beautiful.

  7. I did not know about the hearts so it is nice to see them in one place. Interesting character in front of the church in your first picture.
