The wall paintings on the houses of Garmisch-Partenkirchen

This is our last article of Garmisch-Partenkirchen and we end this serie with the most beautiful aspect of this fantastic town. It seems like there is a competition for the most beautiful house paintings. The artists painted images of the country live, festivities, advertising for products, crafts, and most of all religion. According to us the paintings make this city unique.

  3. This kind of gives new meaning to buildings being the history of a town. The buildings are kind of like open books! My favorite is the blue one.
