Also other parts of the city shine bright at night. Even the cars or the imitation Thai Tuk Tuks work with light effects. The monuments like the Brandenburgertor and the Reichstag are lid up. Modern shops like Saturn and the television tower on Aexanderplatz make you feel as if you are in a different world.

Wonderful photos Filip! I love the Sony Center, it´s a very special architecture and a challenge for every photographer, day and night. Oh I also love the Brandenburger Tor. And the Fernsehturm. I made a nice photo from a band in front of Galeria Kaufhof and bought a monopod at this Saturn market. And.... I better stop now :-)
ReplyDeletewhow dat is allemaal heel indrukwekkend

Lots of lovely night time lighting shots but I can't help thinking that it does seem a waste of energy.
ReplyDeleteHoi Filip & Kristel,
ReplyDeleteZeer mooie opnames.
Groeten, Marco

how beautiful to be taken to another part of the world in an inst. via your photographs. Very 'glamorous' and must be quite exciting travelling through these cities at night
ReplyDeleteBerlin has been on my "must visit" list for ages. Thanks for the peak into what it looks like at night.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous buildings and architecture - I loved seeing your images. Thanks so much for sharing them! I visited Berlin when I was 19 and loved the city so much - it's been 33 years! The Berlin Wall was still up, and to this day I still have my Checkpoint Charlie t-shirt.
ReplyDeleteI like the Tuk Tuk! Very pretty evening shots with all the lights! Berlin is a beautiful city!
ReplyDeleteBerlin!! Another place I wish to go!
