Hotel Maya is located near the Pretronas Towers and provides a good price value service. The hotel has a nice restaurant called Still Waters, in which we tried the sushi, a chicken dish and nasi. The lounge area and the indoor swimming pool were outstanding. Maya Hotel has a Sky Lounge with a terrace from which you have probably the best views on the Petronas Towers by night. The hotel offers his guests complementary coffee and cakes with a view.
We had a spacious room with an amazing bathroom. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom with a glass wall. For the more shy couples, you could always close the curton to increase your privacy. We would not recommend this hotel to light sleepers because even on the 15th floor, you still hear a lot of noise from the busy Kuala Lumpur traffic below. Our overall appreciation of the Maya Hotel is still very positive.

What a views, wonderful. Love the perspective in these photos.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful sitting place in photo nr. 7
We spend today the Midsummer fest, but I'm at home, because I haven't any country place. The sun does not set at all in the whole night... or here in Helsinki the day is 18h 55m long, but in North Finland the day is 24 h long.
Hugs
ReplyDeleteYum, yum - almost suppertime here, but our dinner will not be so gourmet! I figure on the 15th floor, someone would need binoculars to see into the glass wall of the bath. I once stayed in the 3rd Penthouse overlooking San Francisco Bay - the indoor soaking tub was built into a glassed alcove right on the water. It was pretty wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWonderful looking place. Nice decor, food looks appetizing & the noise wouldn't bother me for sleeping...
ReplyDeleteI remember my grandma's house had a busy road next to it. I remember it being hard to sleep
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views! It looks cozy, elegant, and the food looks very nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat view of the towers from your room. Don't think I'd like the noise. We had that once in Singapore.
ReplyDeletespectaculair hotel, amai
ReplyDeletedat ziet er allemaal picobello uit Filip..
ReplyDeleteThere are some lovely views from up there. Those towers - it doesn't matter how many times I've seen them, the still continue to fascinate.
ReplyDeleteOh my, you do find the best of places to dine and stay over, bravo on this find I'd say from here!
