The fort and lighthouse on Pigeon Island, Kusadasi

Walking along side the beach and harbour line to the Pigeon Island, you see a nice Boutique hotel with sea view terraces before you cross the pier to all fisher boats. At the pier people are trying to sell low value souvenirs to tourists. On the island there is a 16th century castle. A walk around this small island provides you nice views of the Aegean Sea and the bay of Kusadasi. The lighthouse is poorly maintained but I assume it had its function.

  7. Wow, I LOVE your shopping post below!! I am a shopper and love shopping. Everything is so colorful, I want it ALL! I have never been to a bazaar! I especially love those lamps and the rugs. The lamps are so beautiful, I would have bought two to put around the house. What did you buy?
