The Trinity church of Copenhagen with its round tower

When you approach the tower, you think it is an ancient water tower or guard tower from a fortress. I could never have imagined this was a 350 year old church tower. Inside the Trinity or Trinitati church the believers sit in rows which are closed off by low wooden doors. This is a special sight. The other elements of the church like the chandeliers, arched ceilings, preach area, the standing clock, paintings, sculptures, the altar and the organ are all artistically impressive. This church is certainly worth a visit.

  3. Wonderful gothic interiors. I read somewhere that the round tower was originally designed to be an Observatory!

  6. Wow, this is so beautiful! We were in Denmark last year but stayed in a small town about an hour from the city. We didn't get into to see the sites of the big city as the countryside was so lovely.
