Doesn’t everyone love flowers? Kristels grandparents have a 50 acre garden behind their house. The garden contains flowers, trees, grass, a shed, a green house, and fields were they have an agricultural hobby. It is a lot of work but it keeps them fit. At the age of 80 and 81 years, they still work hard to maintain the garden and grown their own vegetables and fruit. Isn’t this amazing? How are we going to live when we are 80 years old.

Mooi overzicht!!
Groeten, Marco
The garden looks like a picture, they're doing a great job! Still growing their own vegetables sure keeps them busy, maybe that's the secret to their great health? They both look radiant!
ReplyDeleteWhat an inspiration they are! (They don't look in their 80's - Kristal has good genes!) Your photos of the flowers brought a smile to my face on a cold snowy day in Denver.
ReplyDeleteYes! Keeps them young - bless them

Beautiful pictures and an amazing story. I recognize the forsythia, but not any of the other plants. They keep up this whole garden themselves with no help or extra gardeners?? How amazing, but maybe that is what keeps them active and healthy.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post! fifty acres is a farm not a garden! He will need a huge tractor for that!
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see someone at their age out and about. I hope I am that active at 80.
ReplyDelete50 acres will keep anyone healthy and happy !
ReplyDeletePrachtig zeg.
ReplyDeleteGroetjes, Mirthe
50 Acres! I'm tired just thinking about it!!! Who needs a gym membership with that much exercise on offer??!!
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing couple. You better get in training to take over from them.
ReplyDeleteHopeful my hands will be still steady to take pictures at 80.

I certainly hope I'm that fit when I'm 80! Their garden is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey sure have a blessed life around them, and one that keeps their heart and souls alive and thriving for sure. What an adorable little purring friend they have too...and you get to share in their joy as well! Greetings, Karen
ReplyDeleteWhat a great garden to have - it looks lovely and they are doing a great job with it. It must be an awful lot of work though. They must enjoy it.
So beautiful flowers. Very pleasant Kristels his grandparents. And the cat is adorable. At 80 age, I hope to be a nice granny for grandchildren.

The secret of longevity is keeping active, and Kristels grandparents look
ReplyDeletevery well indeed. It's easy to see why they love their garden, with such lovely flowers and trees.
I hope that you and kristel and all your family have a very happy Easter.
Groetjes Dietmut
ReplyDeleteWonderful images Filip! I love the first flower... beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWOW... amazing parents. Mine are similar (aged 82 & 78) both still work 4 days a week as doctors, and tend to their beautiful cottage garden which is a wonderland of flowers, trees & shrubs.
Proficiat!
