Climb the hill towards Prazsky hrad or Prague castle and enjoy the views

This is one of the most popular landmarks of Prague and it is always very crowded. Walk uphill from the Malostranska metro station towards the Black Tower. Here you can enjoy spectacular views of the city. You enter the palace grounds via the Black Tower gate which is guarded by soldiers in blue ceremonial uniforms. Prazsky hrad is protected by an enormous defence wall which you see on one of the pictures. The grounds contain palaces, gates and churches, and is more than 1.000 years old.

Minder kleur. Voor straks slaap lekker, Dietmut

  18. The charm of Europe to me is to visit the older parts of the city. I can see why so many tourists think so too. The red roofs really add to the attractiveness of the city.
