Macro photography at University Botanic Gardens in Nové Mĕsto, Prague

This more than 100 year old garden in Prague contains many fascinating trees, ponds and flowers. The enormous greenhouse is around 70 years old and fully restored. This is a nice opportunity for me to have a relaxing walk and practise my macro photography. The garden must be amazing in the summer when most flowers are in bloom.

  1. Oh my goodness, this is an aspect of your photography I don't think you have shown before. You are a wonderful photographer, I think I could reach out and touch and smell the flowers. Such sharp clarity for macros! This is a place I could spend days in!!!

Slechts vijf of zes.

  16. Your macro pictures are exquisite. I also like your picture with the path and lady on the bench – very nice. That botanic garden must offer many opportunities for photos. We’ll be in New York in a couple of weeks and I hope if the weather is good to go and visit their botanic garden, but I don’t have a macro lens unfortunately.

  25. Oi, wonderfull park.
I just watched your older post - 29.4 - about Pargue (Praha), and that is really beautifull city.
Praha has been a long time in my travel-wish-list, and your images reinforce that someday I'll really travel there.

    Hugs
