Many of us must know the Alsace as a famous wine region with their Crémant, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and the Gewürztraminer but it also has fabulous towns like Colmar. The old town is a collection of beautiful houses with wooden decorations alongside small canals. There is even an area called “La Petite Venise” or Small Venice. Besides special houses, Colmar is known for its statues, parks and flowers. The pictures below give you a general impression.
