Taking pictures and enjoying the sun in Stromovkapark, Prague

Stromovkapark is a very large park in the north of the city. It has many paved paths which provide good opportunities for bikers, rollerbladers and joggers. It is a popular area for Czech people but it was not crowded because it is such a big area. I tried to take some reflection photos at a lake and the flowers were inspiring. Two police women vigilantly walked their horses in the park. A tree which contained red and white cards caught my attention, what could this mean? I asked a few people but they didn't know the answer. Maybe a Czech reader of this blog knows?

Stromovkapark is een groot park in het noorden van de stad. Het heeft vele betonnen paden wat mogelijkheden biedt voor fietsers, rolllerbladers en joggers. Het is populair bij de lokale bevolking, maar het was er niet druk daar dit zo'n groot gebied is. Ik heb geprobeerd enkele reflectie foto's te nemen bij een meer en de bloemen waren weer inspirerend. Twee politievrouwen te paard reden waakzaam door het park. Een boom waarin rood witte kaartjes hingen trok mijn aandacht. Wat zou dit betekenen? Ik vroeg het enkele lokale wandelaars maar deze bleven me het antwoord schuldig. Misschien weet een Tsjechische lezer van deze blog het wel?.

    Volgens de Google-vertaling staat op de kaartjes 'met allergie naar de hel' ???

    Oh your first photo is just stunning. So magical! That tree and cards would grab my attention as well. I've seen trees with ribbons tied on them with prayers and wishes written on them, and placed on the tree...it was called the hope tree I believe. If you find out, please tell us too!
