Elisabethpark in the autumn, walking in front of the Basilica of Koekelberg

The Elisabethpark stretches from the Basilic of Koekelberg to the Leopold II laan. The views of the Art Deco Basilica together with brown and yellow fall colours of the trees provide an excellent opportunity for a walk in the park. Try to imagine that the Elisabethpark is located in the busy city centre of Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Underneath this park you find a four lane tunnel connecting the city centre with the suburbs and the highway. What do you think of the longues of Brussels, the basilic and the autumn leaves.

  3. Enchanting! We have a lovely Basilica not far from my house, but it doesn't sit in such lovely grounds...it's pretty much located in the concrete trails of Minneapolis! Very little greens, but it does stand out amongs it all remarkably well in the neighborhood!

    groeten
