Excellent stay in Wienwert serviced apartments, Vienna

In the city center of Vienna at the Getreidemarkt, you find an excellent apartment complex where we booked a studio for a few days. It contained a sleeping room, kitchen and living room. It is ideally situated near the Opera, parliament, museum quarter and the old city hall. Downstairs just around the corner, you find a little supermarket. We were preparing for a dance competition so we had to tidy up afterwards.

The entrance is fully automated. You enter with a code and check-in is done via a computer system. At the check-in, you also have large storage lockers for your bags and luggage. Just top.

In het stadscentrum van Wenen aan de Getreidemarkt vind je een uitstekend appartementen complex waar wij een studio voor enkele dagen boekten. Het bestond uit een slaapkamer, keuken en zitkamer. Het was ideaal gelegen nabij de Opera, het parlement, museumkwartier en het oude stadhuis. Beneden, juist achter de hoek vind je een kleine supermarkt. We waren ons aan het voorbereiden voor een danswedstrijd dus moesten we achteraf wat opruimen. 

De toegang tot de appartementen is volledig geautomatiseerd met een code voor de check-in per computer systeem. Hier staan ook enkele afgesloten kasten voor uw bagage in op te bergen. Heel goed georganiseerd.

Majestic parliament of Vienna

The Vienna parliament is in perfect condition, the walls are pure white, no pollution traces. Its main hall looks like a Greek temple with tall columns. Everywhere you see statues of Gods created with an eye for detail.

Art, architecture and buildings in Vienna are of a different level than most large cities. Here the historical palaces and landmarks are well maintained. It makes Vienna one of the most popular cities of Europe for a weekend trip.

Het Weense parlement is in perfecte staat, de muren zijn puur, geen sporen van vervuiling te zien. De hoofdhal lijkt op een Griekse tempel met hoge zuilen. Overal zie je standbeelden van Goden, ontworpen met oog voor detail. 

Kunst, architectuur en de gebouwen in Wenen zijn van een totaal ander niveau dan de meeste grote steden. Hier zijn de historische gebouwen en paleizen goed onderhouden. Het maakt Wenen één van de meest populair Europese bestemmingen voor een weekenduitstap.

Italian pasta in restaurant Tricolori, Vienna

The restaurant is right in the city center of Vienna, close to the museums and the parliament. It has a modern interior and the food is very nice. We tried the bruschetta, the salmon carpaccio, a small lasagna and small pizza. It provides us a good impression of Italian flavors. Nothing better than to combine this with a red wine of the primitivo grape.

Het restaurant is gelegen in het centrum van Wenen, dicht bij het museumkwartier en het parlement. Het heeft een modern interieur en de gerechten zijn zeer smaakvol. We probeerden de bruschetta, de zalmcarpaccio, een kleine lasagna en kleine pizza. Dit gaf ons een goede indruk van een grote variëteit aan Italiaanse smaken. Niets beter dan dit te combineren met een flesje rode wijn van de primitivo druif.
