The Munich Hofgarten Dianatempel with views on the Theatinerkirche

The Royal Hofgarten in Munich was constructed in 1613 and is connected to the Residenz palace. In the middle of the garden (park) you find the Dianatempel, a pavilion which contains several ceramic fountains. Because of the centuries the colours are a bit vague. When I was there a musician played on an organ. Many people were sitting inside the Dianatempel to listen and look for shelter from the sun. I turned around in the pavilion and saw underneath an arch, the two towers of the Theatinerkirche. This is one of my favourite pictures of Munich. Inside and around the Hofgarten you find many benches to relax, enjoy the flowers and people passing by.
