Teleférico del Porto, historical cable car above the port of Barcelona

I was very skeptical of taking this cable car between the port and mount Montjuïc but Kristel has this on her wish list. There are only two cable cars on this line, one in each direction. There are no seats inside the cabin and you have to stand together with about twenty people. Choose your position strategically when taking pictures. When you are in the middle of the cabin you can forget it.

The journey took about seven minutes but I was glad to have done this. The views of the port are amazing. We saw several cruise ships, the modern pedestrian bridge from high above it, the port authority palace and much more. At a certain moment we hung straight above a parking lot with yellow vans, I really like that picture.
