The French city of Dijon is famous for its strong mustard that comes in all kind of flavors. As a souvenir, you can buy a set with 10 different mustards from the city. It is available in specialised shops and the market hall.
Dijon is a large city with many churches, fountains, museums, historical wooden houses and excellent restaurants. We were impressed and fully enjoyed it.
De Franse stad Dijon is beroemd vanwege zijn sterke mosterd die wordt verkocht in allerlei smaken. Als souvenir, kan je een setje van 10 verschillende soorten mosterd kopen. Ze zijn te koop in gespecialiseerde winkels en de markthal.
Dijon is een grote stad met vele kerken, fonteinen, musea, historische houten huisjes en uitstekende restaurants. We waren onder de indruk en genoten ten volle.

This place looks a bit dark and foreboding. But then in your later pictures, it cheers up a bit. Still, I am guessing nothing modern here. We eat Dijon! So I am interested in this post. LOVE the building with the colorful bricks, it is so pretty. And your nighttime shot is beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteIk bezocht deze mooie stad, ik denk in 2012. Die fontein was er dan nog niet, of ik herinner ze niet. Voor de rest wel herkenbare beelden van een mooie stad.
