The small village and lake of Lecco, Italy

It was hard to find a parking place in Lecco but we managed to get rid of our rented car outside the village. We had to walk a few kilometers alongside the lake. This was refreshing, the wind and water provided a cool breeze.

In the village, kids were feeding swans on the edge of the lake. The water is crystal clear but very cold. We enjoyed the views and the mountains and decided to have lunch on a nice elevated terrace on a hill, overlooking the lake.

  2. Oh my goodness, your pictures are gorgeous!!! My favorites are 2, 11, and the steeple. Plus you and Kristel. The water is so clear, and the black cliff so large, kind of like opposites. The cliff is so black that it looks made from coal! The first two pictures really showcase the cliff.
