Many travelers do not realize how beautiful Germany actually is. It is probably the country with most of the castles in Europe. The early 18th century barock Residenzschloss is a nice example of such an architectural treasure. It is called the Versailles of Swaben and contains 452 rooms.
Visiting all rooms and museums in the castle including the gardens would take you a full day. We focused only on the exterior and the porcelain museum. We like vases, plates and statues. Most of the art pieces are very old and of fine craftsmanship. The pictures should provide you an idea.
